Curry chicken BONE BROTH

At 93 calories, 1.6 grams of net carbs per serving and filled with joint supporting collagen, this is my  go-to bone broth recipe.  This recipe is also the perfect food to assist you in your everyday or prolonged fasts due to its higher mineral & fat content - serves 2.

Ingredients:

  • 16.9 ounces Kettle & Fire Chicken Bone Broth
  • 2 tsp Organic Valley ghee (lactose free, anti-inflammatory and rich in omega-3 fatty acids)
  • 1/4 tsp organic turmeric (known for its anti-inflammatory and brain boosting properties)
  • 1/8 tsp organic curry (also known as a potent anti-inflammatory)
  • 1/4 tsp Celtic sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground pepper (load up on the pepper, it can increase the absorption of curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, by up to 2,000%)
  • 1/2 tsp of lemon juice (the Vitamin C in the lemon juice helps increase the production of collagen)

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a medium sauce pan and warm up on low heat, stirring regularly (approx. 15 - 20 minutes).  You can also top with fresh parsley, rosemary, sage, etc.

Serve and enjoy!
